Personalized DNA Microarrays
The GEArray personalized microarray program (SuperArray Bioscience Corp.) allows individual tailoring of content on low-density microarrays with any set of human, mouse or rat genes. Customized microarrays utilize the same technology platform as SuperArray’s Oligo GEArrays. By combining a nylon matrix with high DNA binding capacity and advanced technologies for array labeling and chemiluminescent detection, the GEArray system offers sensitivity using as little as 100 ng of total RNA, or even less with a modified protocol. Derived from the current literature and public databases in a “knowledge-based design”, the content of the company’s catalog microarrays covers over 50 different pathways and diseases. Currently available topics include cancer, immunology, neuroscience, cardiovascular disease, toxicology, signal transduction, apoptosis, stem cells and developmental biology.
