OptiGrid structured light imaging system is available for use with the Olympus MVX10 MacroView Zoom microscope. Microscope users can integrate confocal-quality imaging onto their benchtops for high-contrast fluorescence, 2D optical sectioning and 3D/4D acquisition. Utilizing structured-light technology, the unit captures only image data within the focus plane of a widefield microscope, discarding all other stray light and out-of-focus information to achieve brilliant contrast, ultra-sharp edge definition and haze-free channel distinction. Combined with the features of the MVX10, OptiGrid offers near real-time research imaging of drosophila, C. elegans, zebrafish, mouse embryos and specimens. The unit integrates easily with the MVX10 when equipped with a standard fluorescence filter cube and illuminator. Simply connect the grid amplifier box to a computer, activate the camera, and insert the OptiGrid slider into the removable field diaphragm slot of the fluorescence illuminator.
