Ti:Sapphire Laser
Chameleon-XR, the latest addition to the hands-free Ti:Sapphire product family, provides an extended 260-nm tuning range covering 720 to 980 nm. Like other members of the Chameleon family, Chameleon-XR produces femtosecond pulses with greater than 1 W average output power. Its superb beam quality and a pulse width optimized for minimal broadening in most microscopes also ensure intense sample excitation. Power Pulse dispersion-balanced tuning mechanism optimizes output power and pulse width automatically, at all times and all wavelengths, while the Verdi pump laser ensures quiet and reliable operation. Miniature closed-loop air recirculator allows wavelength access above 920 nm without requiring an inconvenient external purge. In addition to multi-photon excitation microscopy, the Chameleon-XR's 720- to 980-nm tuning range makes it ideal for applications including time-resolved photoluminescence, non-linear spectroscopy, fluorescence upconversion, and quantum chemistry.
