Ion Exchange Columns Purify Nucleic Acids
Hydrocell NS1500 and QA NP10 ion exchange columns have been developed using medium porous and non-porous PS-DVB polymeric beads for the analysis and purification of synthetic oligonucleotides and DNA fragments of up to 1000 base pairs. The columns are stable in buffer from pH 1-13, and have a temperature limits of 80 C. Pressure limit of 4000 psi allows fast equilibration and clean-up. Recently developed ion-pair reverse phase column NRD2 is offered for denaturing HPLC at 35 to 80 C. The column can be used for oligonucleotide and DNA fragment analyses, PCR quantification, and clean-up before sequencing and cloning.
