Liquid Handling Platform Provides Inert, Multi-Format Sample Processing
TekBench-SP™ is a fully automated liquid handling platform for the processing of tube- and plate-based samples in an inert environment, providing protection from oxygen, moisture, light, dust — factors known to compromise sample integrity and stability. Within a 3× 5 footprint, each vertically integrated platform contains storage for 1008 microplates, containers and consumables (equal to five carousels) and four dynamically exchangeable pipetting tools with flow-through wash stations, maximizing walk-away time and processing efficiency. The fully enclosed, inert workspace can be configured to perform a range of processing tasks for tubes (96-tube piercing, active thawing, reformatting) and plates (replication, reformatting, cherry picking).
