Taconic Biotechnology supplies monoclonal antibodies used in research, diagnostic and therapeutic applications from a cGMP production facility. Company capabilities include cell line characterization (limited dilution cloning, subcloning, biopharmaceutical safety testing), master cell banks and manufacturers working cell banks, in vivo production, in vitro production and antibody purification and processing. Preclinical contract animal research services support research programs. Animal studies are conducted in barrier facilities using Taconic MPF™ rats, mice and transgenic models or client-supplied models. The animal husbandry program is accredited by AAALAC and Taconic's animal care and use committee must approve all protocols.
