The VSO-EP is a module for precision control of critical system pressures. An automated alternative to manual pressure regulators, needle valves, flow controllers, and bleed orifices, it provides integral closed-loop proportional control for both dynamic and “set and forget” applications. Users can close the pressure loop with the internal pressure sensor or elect to provide an “external” transducer to close the loop at the optimal point in the system. The VSO-EP converts an electrical control signal into a tightly regulated pneumatic output. Compatible with Bluetooth wireless technology, the VSO-EP measures 57 × 57 × 32 mm and offers pressure ranging from 0-2psig to 120psig. It can be configured with a 0-5 VDC for both the input control signal and the monitor output, has a maximum supply pressure of 150% of pressure transducer rating, and offers pressure accuracy to 0.2% FS typical.
