Calibrate Automated Multichannel Liquid Handling Systems
Multichannel Verification System MVS verifies and calibrates automated multichannel liquid delivery equipment. Based on ARTEL's patented Dual-Dye Ratiometric Photometry method, the MVS determines both the accuracy and precision of each individual channel of a multichannel liquid delivery device. Volumes from 2-200 μl can be verified, producing results that are traceable to national standards, and can be applied to a wide range of instruments. Robust and convenient to use, the system allows volumetric performance of automated liquid handling equipment to be verified frequently. Components of the MVS include: sample solutions; custom manufactured microtiter verification plates; a specialized calibrator plate; a plate shaker; a customized plate reader that delivers reliable absorbance measurements at 520 nm and 730 nm; and a notebook computer with MVS Data Manager software and a barcode reader.
