Apoptosis Assay
The APOPercentage assay kit detects and measures apoptosis in mammalian, anchorage-dependent cells. Analysis can be conducted with a conventional inverted microscope for cell counting, checking cell growth and confluence. The dye contained within the labeled cells and `blebs' is then released into solution and quantified using a color filter microplate colorimeter. Assay time is one hour and has been optimized for 96-well plate format. Necrotic cells remain unlabeled. The kit is recommended for screening multiple test samples.
