The M30 Apoptosense™ ELISA, a tool for the investigation of tumor apoptosis, is specific for apoptosis in epithelial cells and has sensitivity to detect apoptosis in less than 10,000 cells. The patented M30 antibody recognizes a neo-epitope which is exposed during caspase cleavage of cytokeratin 18 and will not react with necrotic or damaged cells. The ELISA format and all necessary reagents make it easy for researchers to screen large numbers of anti-cancer drug candidates as well as to perform time-course kinetic studies of apoptosis-inducing agents.
