Refrigerated Robotic Centrifuge
Rotanta 46 RSC refrigerated, robotic centrifuge offers control by remote optical data transmission. If needed, all functions can be controlled manually on the control panel. A hatch in the lid opens before and after each cycle, allowing a robotic arm to reach into the centrifuge. Models are available with either a front or rear access hatch for processing tubes, bottles, and microtitration plates. The drive motor positions the swing-out rotor and firmly holds it in any of the 4 required positions under the hatch. The bucket position is adjustable and offers accuracy of <0.6 mm. After each cycle the drive automatically turns the rotor to position No. 1. Rotanta 46 RSC features a metal housing and lid, stainless steel centrifuging chamber, and impact resistant panel coating. Maximum rpm is 4,500 with maximum rcf at 4,754. Capacity is 4 × 750 ml. Safety features include lid lock and hold, hatch lock, emergency lid lock release, imbalance switch-off, and overheating protection.
