High-Throughput Protein Crystallization Platform
Odyssey high-throughput plate storage and retrieval system, used for protein crystallization, is equipped with an identification system and barcode tracking, enabling programmed access to each microwell plate, processing up to 60 plates per hour. The system is fully automatic and includes comprehensive safety features. Precise robotics and closed loop servo systems provide for a vibration-minimizing environment. Tracking data, crystal images, and scoring data are all accessed using a customized database compatible with a variety of LIMS systems. When coupled with the Minstrel IV imaging and analysis system, it becomes a platform for high-throughput protein crystallization, serving as the foundation for high-throughput structure determination and drug discovery.
