Tumor Cell Lines
Bioware Ultra cell lines include a range of ultra-bright, light-producing tumor cell lines created for in vivo imaging applications. These cell lines provide brightness levels that allow detection of a single cancer cell in an animal via non-invasive in vivo imaging. Increasing the brightness of tumor producing cell lines improves monitoring of early tumor behavior and earlier detection of micrometastases. These cell lines incorporate the enhanced luc2 gene from Promega Corporation. The luc2 gene creates intensified visible light allowing more sensitive non-invasive detection of cells in vivo.
