CCCD-based Imaging, Analysis Systems
The CCDBIO® SmartIMAGE PERSONAL and the CCDBIO SmartIMAGE SYSTEM combine advanced CCD technologies, darkroom components and software. CCDBIO SmartIMAGE PERSONAL is a gel documentation product for individual use. It integrates a digital camera and portable darkroom hood with a high-performance transilluminator for simple, quick, bench or desktop analyses. It is flexible and powerful enough to image 1D gels, spot blots, plates and more, yet can be fully working in less than 5 minutes. CCDBIO SmartIMAGE SYSTEM incorporates advanced camera technologies, fully enclosed darkroom and additional features to deliver a high performance instrument for higher capacity use. This model delivers increased application flexibility with 8-bit, 12-bit or 12-bit Plus CCD camera and a 10-position motorized filter wheel. It is useful in chemiluminescence and fluorescence applications including proteomic and genomic gel analyses, blot and membrane analyses, ELISA MTP imaging and colony counting. Sensitivity and data accuracy are increased via CCD quantum efficiencies of greater than 50% at the difficult 425 nm wavelength.
