Featuring single mode fiber (SMF) technology and a three-axis, automated platform, the Model 802-DAT is a high-throughput, dynamic light-scattering system that provides sensitivity, wide-range temperature control and low sample volume requirements. Measurement times are cut down to approximately 1 minute per sample well. Dual Attenuation Technology (DAT) is utilized, a technique that controls the level of light entering the sample as well as controlling scattered light going to the detector. Researchers are able to work at the optimum conditions for the laser and detector irrespective of sample type. In combination with OmniSIZE 3.0 software, DAT is able to automatically adjust the instrument to its optimum setting sample by sample.
