Liquid Handling Platform
Sciclone ALH 3000 liquid handling platform, for aspirating and dispensing in 96, 384, and 1536 well formats, has been updated with a new instrument control program, Sciclone Software, V3.0. For added versatility in liquid handling, it also comes with an EZ-Swap™ head design that allows switching between High Volume, Low Volume and 100 nl multi-channel dispense modules in less than five minutes. One instrument platform covers the volume range from 100 nl to 1.5 ml. Each dispense module has an electronic ID that is automatically detected by the software so that upon exchange, no re-alignment or re-calibration of the unit is required. Eight channel, Z-8™ pipetting module, with independent Z-axis control for single well access, offers enhanced positional accuracy, expanded tube accessibility, and an optional liquid level sensing capability.
