Class II Safety Cabinets
Heraeus HERAsafe KS Class II safety cabinets feature a microprocessor-based control pad that is easily viewed, accessed and operated by any user in a seated position. Easy to clean and disinfect, the membrane keypad features prominent self-explanatory icons and large buttons and provides control of power, lighting, blower, timers and electronic front sash window. Data and control parameters are displayed at eye level on an LED mounted on the rear wall, and facilitate monitoring of downflow rate, total operating hours and alert indicators, as well as timers that show delayed start and the operating time of optional UV irradiators. The display also indicates the current safety status between certifications using a relative measure that considers air flow, operating time and filter status. KS safety cabinets also provide the option of parameter setting via hand-held remote control.
