CO2 Incubator
Available with a fungicidal/bactericidal solid copper interior, the Heraeus® HERAcell® 240 CO2 incubator provides a stable growing environment and contamination protection for cell and tissue cultures. The 8.4 cu/ft capacity unit incorporates the ContraCon 90 C automatic decontamination routine, which eliminates mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi and spores without the need to remove and subsequently re-fit shelves and sensors. A large, directly heated water reservoir and a water level alarm provide optimal growth conditions, prevent cultures from drying out, and improve humidity recovery times. Optional O2 control is offered for applications requiring decreased or increased O2 conditions. The incubator can be configured with either a thermal conductivity CO2 sensor, with auto-zero self-calibration to ensure long-term stability and constant culture pH, or a unique dual-beam infrared sensor that provides precise CO2 control in fluctuating temperature and humidity conditions. The HERAcell 240 is available with integrated bottle turning devices and six gas-tight inner glass doors.
