Centrifuge Rotors
High-performance, fixed-angle superspeed rotor varieties include SUPER-LITE® aluminum models that weigh up to 50% less than conventional metal rotors, and that offer high top speeds together and fast acceleration and deceleration times. SUPER-LITE composite rotors weigh even less, and offer 6-L capacities for efficient, large-volume cell pelleting. Unique RX™ Rapid Access fixed-angle Superspeed rotors employ a rotor lid assembly that enables fast access to samples with few handling steps. The lid assembly can be quickly attached or removed while the rotor body is in the centrifuge chamber. Swinging bucket rotors offer capacities to 3 L for gentle sedimentation of different cell types. All commonly used tubes, bottles, centrifugal filtration, and purification devices are accommodated, and microplate carriers enable processing of microwell plates, PCR plates, and PCR tube strips. Most Superspeed rotors can be used interchangeably between different floor model Superspeed centrifuges, laboratories benefit from maximum flexibility with their rotor investment. Rotors are available with a range of adapters for popular tubes and bottles.
