Protein Interaction Analysis System
Biacore T100 protein interaction analysis system is offered for use in primary research and drug discovery. The instrument can analyze up to 384 samples per run, automatically, over a broad kinetic range. Software wizards facilitate assay development, analysis and evaluation of every interaction parameter: kinetics, affinity, specificity, concentration and thermodynamics. The system supports assay development, analysis and evaluation when working with compounds of <1000 Da. Integrated buffer degassing improves robustness when studying interactions at elevated temperatures. Applications include elucidation of disease mechanisms by characterizing native or recombinant protein interactions; selection of antibodies as research tools, assay components or therapeutics by fully defining their interaction behavior; definition of potential drug targets and diagnostic markers; development of assays to characterize proteins e.g. low molecular weight (LMW) compound interactions in drug development; selection of protein therapeutic candidates according to their on/off rates; detection and characterization of immune responses during preclinical and clinical development; characterization of protein therapeutics and implementation of QC methods.
