Low Volume Hybridization Station For DNA And Protein Mircroarrays
ArrayBooster™ low volume hybridization station is compatible with all microarrays based on the microscope slide format. Protocols and buffers developed for cover slip hybridizations need not be changed. Proprietary technology utilizes surface acoustic waves to agitate the sample during the incubation process. Three different size Advacards™ with integrated pumps cover the spotted array only, so required sample volume is minimized. ArrayBooster increases homogeneity and slide-to-slide reproducibility of both DNA and protein microarrays. Incubation times can be reduced by up to a factor of ten without compromising the data quality. Micro-agitation also increases specificity of the hybridization, enhancing signal-to noise ratio by up to a factor of 30. Up to four ArrayBoosters with a total of 16 independent incubation chambers can be controlled by one PC through an intuitive user interface.
