BioOdyssey Calligrapher miniarrayer is a benchtop instrument that prints nucleic acids, proteins and carbohydrates via software and a laser-etched platen. An eight-pin print head prints from a single source plate onto up to 16 slides, 2 membranes or into the wells of 96-well plates. The flow-through wash station and vacuum team to thoroughly clean pins, eliminating carryover contamination. Optional humidity control module maintains constant humidity, while an optional cooler chills both the source plate and slide area on the platen, maintaining the integrity of proteins. Custom software upgrade gives total control of the robot for printing onto unusual surfaces or from unusual source plates.
