Midwest Scientific has announced a partnership with Cytogenomics Inc., a St. Louis, Missouri bioinformatics company, to distribute Cytogenomics' SilicoCyte™ software. SilicoCyte is an integrated, microarray-independent, modular, end-to-end microarray analysis solution for gene expression analysis. A microarray analysis solution providing automated image analysis, comprehensive data annotation, data analysis and visualization, the software supports integration with advanced visualization tools and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). SilicoCyte can be customized, and eliminates the need for multiple software products in the conduct of microarray experiments. From gene and probe annotation to data analysis, SilicoCyte provides a single window for the entire experiment process, as well as seamless integration with third party software such as Spotfire™.
