Syringe Filter Design Improves Sample Cleanup
Syringe filters with large diameter membranes provide easy filtration and an overall increase in sample throughput. Filtering is rapid, with low backpressure. A range of pore sizes and membrane types, all non-sterile, are offered. Filters made with 17 or 30-mm membranes are suitable for use with samples of 1 ml or greater. Filters with 4 mm filter elements allow recovery of samples less than 1 ml. Four and 17 mm filters are supplied with Nylon 66, polypropylene, or PTFE membranes., and 30 mm filters are available with polysulfone, cellulose acetate, PTFE, PVDF, polypropylene, or Nylon 66 membranes.
