Cell Growth Plates
The 24-well SurfacePlus™ plate features patented Adhere® surface technology developed to accelerate the growth of difficult to grow anchorage dependent cells. The surface is created using a proprietary manufacturing process to produce raised microstructures on the dedicated culture area while modifying the surface chemistry to facilitate attachment. This 2-dimensional architecture provides a framework promoting improved cell attachment, proliferation, and differentiation that is similar to the in vivo 3-dimensional environment. The surface provides a 28% increase in available growth surface as compared to traditional polystyrene 24-well cell culture plates. The raised microstructures also form a grid pattern for counting cells. Adopting a standard SBS footprint, the plate is compatible with most automated plate handling systems.
