Digital Image Restoration Microscopy
The DeltaVision Spectris high resolution, image restoration microscopy system features a fully integrated ergonomic workspace and space efficient design. The system provides real-time imaging capabilities to study dynamic processes within the cell, including, for example, protein transport within the nucleus. Real-time imaging combines with advanced point-visiting technique to enable the study multiple cells simultaneously. Imaging flexibility allows the best combination of spatial and temporal resolution matched to the cell structure and rate of activity. Fast exposures also reduce cell-damaging phototoxicity effects as well as minimizing photobleaching both of which can limit observation time in live-cell imaging applications. The system is based on wide-field epi-fluorescence microscopy imaging and precisionware— Applied Precision's patented convergence of electronics, optics, mechanics and software.
