Miltenyi Biotec MACS NH media products are offered for the quantification, expansion and differentiation of nonhematopoietic (NH) stem cells from human bone marrow. NH CFU-F Medium is optimized for CFU-F assays, which are used to quantify CFU-Fs (colony forming unit fibroblasts), representing stem and progenitor cells with nonhematopoietic (NH) differentiation potential. This provides information about the quality of human bone marrow samples or aspiration procedures. NH CFU-F Medium is offered in pre-aliquoted format, suitable for up to 12 CFU-F assays. For the expansion of human marrow stromal cells (MSCs), NH Expansion Medium provides optimized and standardized cultivation conditions, while maintaining the differentiation potential of expanded MSCs. NH AdipoDiff Medium, NH ChondroDiff Medium and NH OsteoDiff Medium stimulate the differentiation of MSCs into adipocytes, chondrocytes and osteoblasts, that serve as quality control for their retained differentiation potential and will soon be available.© 2008 Advantage Business Media.
