Untouched B Cell Isolation
Miltenyi Biotec has announced the release of several new MACS® products for the isolation of untouched human B cells. B Cell Isolation Kit II and the Naive B Cell Isolation Kit II contain optimized reagents for specific isolation of lineage B cells or naive B cells, respectively, from peripheral blood. Further, resting B cells can now be enriched from peripheral blood and lymphoid tissues by using CD43 MicroBeads. MACS Technology provides cell isolation for efficient magnetic enrichment of target B cells by using columns, magnets and MicroBeads. With MACS reagents for untouched B cell isolation, non-target cells are specifically labeled and retained on a separation column in the magnetic field of a MACS Separator. The untouched B cells are collected in the column flow through. For further analysis of B cells, e.g. by flow cytometry a wide range of fluorochrome-conjugated MACS antibodies is now available.
