Fluorescent Protein Vectors
pIRES2-ZsGreen1 or pZsGreen1-1 fluorescent protein vectors are offered for cellular assays. pIRES2-ZsGreen1 contains an internal ribosome entry site (IRES), which permits both the cloned gene and the ZsGreen1-encoding region to be translated from a single mRNA. Fluorescence intensity directly correlates with the expression level of the gene of interest. pZsGreen1-1 is a promoterless vector for studying transcriptional regulation. The ZsGreen coding sequence has been human codon-optimized for efficient translation in mammalian cells.
