Self-inactivating Vectors
BD Retro-X™ Q Vectors provide high viral titers, reliable expression levels, and reduce the possibility of promoter interference. The vectors express a target gene along with an antibiotic selection marker and to inactivate the promoter in the 5' LTR following integration into the host genome. Self-inactivating vectors provide improved expression due to a reduced chance of promoter interference.
