Two new detector modules, a TC column oven, and an all-PEEK flow path option, are incorporated in the ICS-3000 chromatography system for biomolecule analysis. With this option, the system overcomes pH and high salt limitations of traditional stainless steel or titanium chromatography systems. Eliminating the possibility of metal-induced deactivation of biomolecules, PEEK composition prevents system corrosion using mobile phases at pH 0–14 and high molarity salt buffers. The system will not affect the sample or the separation in applications such as monoclonal antibody analysis.
