ProPac HIC-10 separates proteins and peptides by hydrophobic interaction chromatography. The stationary phase consists of 5 μm, 300Å pure spherical silica gel particles, which are functionalized with multi-dentate amide groups. The surface chemistry is optimized by the inclusion of hydrophobic and hydrophilic ligands that improve the hydrolytic stability of the silica support in aqueous media. HIC-10 separates a range of proteins and peptides, including monoclonal antibodies, serum proteins, and protein digests. The columns are packed in stainless steel bodies and are available in 2.1 mm I.D and 4.6 mm I.D. format for analytical work, and 7.8-mm I.D. format for semi-preparative purification of proteins and peptides.
