UltiMate Plus Nano/Capillary LC modular separation/fractionation system integrates a flow sensor to automate calibration of capillary and nano flow rates. Dual-gradient capability facilitates applications in LC/MS that are used in two different modes: parallel capillary/nano LC, for overlapped injections, results in high LC/MS throughput; comprehensive 2-D capillary/nano LC/MS provides increased protein identification. The methods involve using a linear salt gradient in the strong cation-exchange first dimension, and reversed-phase in the second dimension. All UltiMate Plus modules are available in an iron-free version to assure 100% biocompatibility.
