DNA, RNA Purification Workstation
BioRobot EZ1 system provides fully automated purification of DNA and RNA from a range of clinically relevant samples, processing from 1-6 samples in as little as 15 minutes. Ready-to-run protocols on pre-programmed cards make simple. Pre-filled reagent cartridges enable fast worktable setup, while protocols on EZ1 Cards increase the flexibility. Fully automated protocols are available for DNA purification from blood and blood-derived samples, swabs, body fluids, cells, tissues, and trace and reference samples. EZ1 RNA Kits and Cards provide walk-away automation of total RNA or total nucleic acid purification from a wide range of cell and tissue samples. RNA and DNA prepared using the workstation and EZ1 can be used in sensitive downstream applications such as quantitative RT-PCR, microarray analysis, STR profiling, or amplification of single-copy genes.
