Lipid Supplements For NS0 Cell Culture And Fed-Batch Strategies
HyClone has released two new products for culture of cholesterol auxotrophic cell lines, in particular the mouse myeloma cell line, NS0. HyQ® LS250 is a concentrated lipid supplement that stimulates cell growth and monoclonal antibody production in NS0 cells. HyQ LS1000 is a concentrated cholesterol supplement for fed-batch applications. Both supplements are chemically defined and animal derived component-free and have been successfully tested in cell culture with the HyClone's serum-free hybridoma and myeloma media, including HyQ ADCF-MAb and SFM4MAb.
