Gene Silencing In Difficult To Transfect Cells
Ambion's pSilencer™ adeno 1.0-CMV System combines the advantages of adenoviral vectors with an efficient siRNA expression system. It allows easy delivery of an siRNA expressing construct into many difficult to transfect cells, including primary cells. As an adenoviral vector, the system does not integrate into the host genome, so there is little chance of insertional mutagenesis. An optimized CMV promoter in the vector efficiently expresses hairpin siRNAs.
