Cell Lysis And Protein Extraction

CellLytic Express cell lysis reagent is added directly to microbial culture media for non-denaturing protein extraction. It consists of a proprietary powder blend of detergent and enzymes optimized for in-culture bacterial cell lysis, yielding more protein than sonication and eliminating centrifugation steps required for cell harvest and lysate clarification. The resulting total culture lysate is completely clear of cellular debris and is immediately ready for affinity purification.
