The Leica ST5020 Multistainer supports protocols with as many as 12 racks of 30 slides at a time. CodeRack color-coded Transponder Technology allows the stainer to automatically identify the desired stain protocol for individual racks and start the process. Multiple staining protocols can be processed simultaneously for both histology and cytology applications. Up to 50 user-defined staining protocols can be stored. Water-saving features reduces consumption by as much as 80%. The unit can stand alone or can interface with the Leica CV5030 Glass Coverslipper for integrated, hands-off operation.
