High-Yield RNA Purification Kits
VERSAGENE™ RNA Purification Kits employ column-based RNA isolation technology to extract RNA from tissue or cultured cells in as little as 20 minutes. Depending on sample type, yields range up to 600 μg of pure. The easy-to-use kits come complete with pre-mixed reagents. Protocols are not complex, and incubation times are minimal. The entire purification process can be completed on the laboratory workbench at room temperature without a fume hood. Hazardous disposal is not necessary because the protocol does not employ any harsh organic solvents, toxic reagents, or reactive cyanide salts. Cultured cell kits isolate RNA from up to 50 million cells. Tissue kits process samples up to 40 mg or more. The resulting RNA is virtually free of genomic DNA, protein, and other enzymatic inhibitors, and is ready for downstream applications such as RT-PCR, microarray analysis, Northerns, and RNase protection assays.
