Genomic DNA Libraries
CopyControl™ Fosmid Library Production Kit utilizes a strategy of cloning blunt-ended DNA fragments, generated by random shearing of the DNA, to produce more complete and unbiased genomic libraries of approximately 40-Kb clones. Greater than 106 clones are produced in a single experiment. The kit incorporates CopyControl cloning technology, which enables the user to grow clones at single copy to ensure insert stability and cloning of encoded expressed toxic proteins and then induce the clones to high copy number for high yields of DNA.
