Gel Electrophoresis Kit
The LP-NEXT (Large Protein) GEL system analyzes large molecular weight proteins via horizontal agarose gel electrophoresis. Proteins from 14,000 Da up to 3,000,000 Da can be resolved on a single agarose gel. This is suitable for cytoskeletal and muscle proteins, nuclear scaffolding proteins, and cross-linked proteins. The system is also compatible with all supporting technology, such as Western Blotting, N-terminal sequencing, MS and MALDI. An agarose product is used in combination with an optimized buffer that slows protein migration and enables the study of high molecular weight proteins via an easy horizontal gel electrophoresis method. The kit contains sufficient reagents to perform 35 to 50 mini gels and is stable at room temperature for up to 1 year.
