Cell Washer
The COULTER® CellPrep automated cell washer module, for flow cytometry sample preparation, features the application of hollow-fiber filter technology. As a cellular suspension flows into the hollow-fiber filter, components smaller than 0.65 μ are pulled out through pores along with most of the sample's original suspension fluid. Diluent pushes the cells contained in this retentate back into the daughter tube, creating a cleaner suspension. The hollow fiber retains anything larger than 0.65 μ. The module can run whole or lysed blood and features a carousel for the transport of daughter tubes. The system comes with 41 protocols including 11 preset, modifiable protocols for pre-lyse, post-lyse and sample concentration.
