Microwave Peptide Synthesizer
CEM Corporation's Odyssey™ System provides microwave-enhanced peptide synthesis that is fast, and that produces clean peptides and high yields. Peptides can be synthesized in 2 hours, and cycle times are less than 10 minutes. The full Odyssey product line includes manual units, as well as automated systems that have the capability to synthesize up to 12 different peptides. Systems are easy to use, can perform automated resin cleavage, and synthesize peptides throughout a wide scale, from .05 to 5 mmol. Compact design conserves bench space and allows the unit to be used in a fume hood. Odyssey is built on the Discover™ platform and includes CEM's patented Focused™ technology and flexible software that enables chemists to change operating parameters quickly and run the unit from the onboard keypad or from a PC.
