Hybridization Station
The HS 400 Hybridization Station, a compact version of Tecan's HS 4800, provides fully automated processing of up to four slides and improves reproducibility of microarray results. Applications include gene expression profiling, gene regulation, pharmacogenomic studies, identification of a new drug target, and toxicology studies. The HS 400 Hybridization Station. Incubations for the HS 400 may be performed at temperature of 15-85 C, and denaturation at temperatures up to 99 C. True parallel processing guarantees exact and reproducible wash times. The HS 400 offers efficient liquid agitation and on-board slide drying to maximize the quality of the results and shorten hybridization times. A highly uniform liquid distribution ensures reproducibility for all washing steps. Slide loading is facilitated by the use of unique slide holders that permit four slides to be loaded simultaneously. These slide holders provide seamless connectivity to the Tecan LS series of laser scanners. The HS 400 Hybridization Station can be operated via the integrated touch-screen-module or can be controlled from an external PC. For enhanced throughput or to process different protocols, multiple HS 400 systems can be operated from a single PC.
