UltraVIEW™ RS real-time six dimensional confocal microscope facilitates multidimensional confocal imaging of living and fixed samples in a fraction of the time required by classical laser scanning confocal systems, while preserving cell viability and fluorescence. The microscope uses the newly developed CSU21 dual-Nipkow confocal scanner, a system that allows fast and accurate confocal scanning. Proprietary hardware synchronization technology permits optimized control of the scanning, detector acquisition, wavelength and Z-position for high acquisition rates while preserving image quality.
