Plunge Freezer For Cryo-fixation
The EMS 002 Plunge Freezer provides a semi-automatic method for cryo-fixation of samples. Integrated into a small unit, the plunging and controlling system allows for the introduction of all common cryogens. Frozen samples are easily transferred directly to the TEM using the proprietary Cryo Tansfer system. The freezer is simple, easy to set up and easy to use. Applications include cryofixation of isolated or assembled macromolecules and liposomes, and cryofixation of suspensions and tissues.
