Modular Bioprocess System
The Biostat® I modular bioprocess system, an enhanced, entry-level research tool, is capable of running one or two experiments simultaneously. Low maintenance single-walled spinner flasks or stirred-tank may be used, increasing system versatility. Integrated measurement amplifiers for temperature, pH, pO2, and foam/level for each vessel make upgrades from single units to twins simple. Process control may incorporate rotameters, gasmixing valves, massflow controllers, pumps, motor controllers, as needed. The Biostat B-DCU investigational tool fulfills the next step in the development process. Increased functionality, independent control of up to four culture vessels, and a user-friendly touch screen panel, allow for more complex configurations, from process inputs to control loops to special gas blending strategies. Documented manufacturing processes and an audit-proven software platform ensure compliance in GMP development or production environments.
