New 225 cm2 NUNC EasYFlask is equipped with a system that allows opening or closing the flask by a mere one-third turn of the cap. Maximum airflow underneath the flask optimizes temperature equilibration during incubation, even when stacked. Nunclon surface treatment facilitates cell attachment and growth. Large opening provides easy access to the entire growth surface with either pipettes or cell scrapers. The slope and design of the neck area allows for complete drainage, while preventing medium from splashing into the neck when placed horizontally. Additional features include a distinctive "Y" shaped mark on the vent/close cap for easy verification of cap position. Volume graduations are both printed and molded on the flask. The flasks are available with a choice of a filter cap or vent/close cap, are certified sterile and non-pyrogenic, and are tested for both monolayer formation and cloning efficiency for primary cells and continuous cell lines.© 2008 Advantage Business Media.
