NUNC 384 Shallow Well Plates combine the volume of a 1536 well plate with the technical benefits of a 384 well plate. Conical well shape (3.0/1.5 mm top/bottom diameters with flat bottoms) provides a working volume of 2 to 20 μl, reducing reagent consumption, minimizing evaporation and facilitating dispensing. Highly rigid, in standard 127.8 mm L × 85.5 mm W footprint with standard well-to-well distances, they are designed for secure, accurate handling in robotic systems. Low-profile design maximizes capacity in stackers, while minimizing consumption of polystyrene and reducing environmental stress. NUNC 384 Shallow Well Plates are offered with either a Nunclon surface for cell culture, or with a non-treated surface for homogeneous assays. All are available with a low profile, robot-friendly LowBot Lid and bar coding, as well as 0.2 mm elevated well rims to allow for heat sealing.
