BioStation CT houses a microscope and camera within an incubator. It automatically captures the images of cells being cultured; there is no need to remove the vessel from the incubator and move it to the microscope. This minimizes stress on the cells due to environment changes and vibration and prevents contamination, while ensuring safety for the researcher. Images of the cells are automatically captured from inside the incubator according to the instruction set for programming. Captured images are saved sequentially along with environment data from the initial time of image capture. Complete traceability is provided.
